MAC Cosmetics Celebrates Diwali With Its Newest Colorful Launch
This holiday season, MAC Cosmetics is spotlighting an important celebration with a brand-new collection.
Diwali Light Festival, available now online, pays tribute to the five-day Hindu event via an edited selection of eye makeup essentials. Diwali is a happy holiday that marks the new year for many, as well as the triumph of good (light) over evil (darkness). For this occasion, fireworks are set off around the world to brighten the evening skies, people buy each other gifts, and some create rangoli, colorful decorative patterns often made on floors with rice, flour, sand, or flower petals.
The star of MAC's Diwali assortment seems to take a cue from the vibrancy of rangoli. The nine-pan, limited-edition eye shadow palette is packed with vibrant hues of gold, red, green, and blue. You can also snag eyeliners and brushes.
