Gilmore Girls: The Reason Emily's Maid Is So Familiar Will Blow Your Mind
Gilmore Girls went out of its way to create fun moments for superfans, but there's one connection in A Year in the Life that is nearly impossible to see right off the bat. Emily's new maid Berta, the one she actually likes and keeps finally, is played by an actress we've all definitely met already: Rose Abdoo. While the name may not ring a bell, you'll definitely recognize her in her usual getup as Gypsy the mechanic:
Same. Person. Abdoo has appeared on Scandal, Veep, Parenthood (with her fellow costar Lauren Graham), and Mike & Molly (with her other fellow costar, Melissa McCarthy), but this time, she's hiding in plain sight! Boom.
