Kate Middleton Found the Power Color You Probably Didn't Think of Yet
It would be pretty predictable to show up to a flower show wearing florals, so Kate Middleton did just the opposite. Instead of playing off the pretty subjects at the Chelsea Flower Show on Monday, the duchess surprised the crowd in a bright kelly-green coat dress from London-based fashion house Catherine Walker, which she's worn before.
While it's certainly an appropriate color, conjuring up images of a lush garden and beautiful greenery, it serves another purpose too. The brilliant color makes a bold statement, the kind you might expect from a fiery red sheath. In fact, the green hue complements Kate's complexion and hair color perfectly, while making her look pop, proving that it might just be the power color we've all been missing.
