Rihanna Sent J Lo a Pair of Manolo Blahnik Boots to Wear in Her "Ain't Your Mama" Video
When Manolo Blahnik and Rihanna announced the launch of a limited-edition collection featuring denim-inspired boots and heels, we had visions of Jennifer Lopez wearing the styles on the red carpet and stage. The collection simply screams her name, and Rihanna obviously took notice, too.
In a recent Instagram, J Lo showed off a pair of Rihanna's 9 to 5 boots, embellished with a large sequined buckle and embroidery, with a note from the Barbados-born singer that reads: "To the baddest, because I know you're gonna wear them better than me!!! From: Badgalriri." And now we know why J Lo needed an advanced pair of the boots: for her incredibly badass "Ain't Your Mama" video.
