This $169 Ikea Dining Set Looks Like a Million Bucks
Moving into a new apartment meant starting from scratch for Isabelle Larue of Engineer Your Space. Since she was on a tight budget, she opted for an affordable pine table set - consisting of an Ikea Ingo table and Ivar chair set ($169) - and then upgraded it with some DIY ingenuity. She painted the chairs the same vibrant blue as her kitchen and added fun, striped upholstery to them, and applied a semitransparent white stain to the table legs. The result is a playful dining set with much more charm and character than its budget price tag would allow you to believe. Check out the makeover details on Hometalk.
