Gilmore Girls: Why Corn Starch Is So Special to Rory and Dean
While we may have rallied for Dean to have more than five minutes of screen time in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, the time we do spend with him is very special. Rory bumps into him as Doose's, and their interaction includes a heartwarming shout-out to their first kiss in season one of the original series. As he's walking out the door, she spies a box of corn starch, and calls out to him. He chuckles and says, "Pay for it this time." If you've forgotten, here's the scene they're referencing:
