This Is What the First Latin Grammy Awards Looked Like
It's been 16 years since the first Latin Grammy Awards were celebrated in Los Angeles, and to put it lightly, Hollywood was a very different place back then. That was the year of the Latin explosion, Jennifer Lopez's "Let's Get Loud," and Shakira's superblond and curly hair. The world didn't know who the artists competing for the awards this year even were - J Balvin was 15, Prince Royce 11! - but for those of us who remember that first ceremony, the night was epic.
