6 Things to Watch If You're Fascinated by the Church of Scientology
It's only been a couple months since A&E's new serial documentary (titled Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath) premiered in November 2016. With its release, it seems the religious organization has been, for better or for worse, in the spotlight more than ever before. The series stems from Leah Remini's notable departure from the church in 2013 and seeks to investigate its inner workings. Between this show and Remini's recent stop on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, one thing has become astoundingly clear: the religion likes to keep the details of its creed private. Perhaps that's why there are so few documentaries and other such informative pieces about Scientology in the world: people are afraid of the repercussions that come with exposing the organization's secrets. That said, there are a few things you can watch if you can't seem to quash your curiosity.
