Pucker Up! This Makeup Brush Set Is Here to Make Your Lips So Much More Kissable
With Valentine's Day right around the corner, we're all getting ready to pucker up (. . . or, you know, snuggle up with our gal pals and pints of Ben & Jerry's). Real Techniques just released its limited-edition Prep + Color Lip Set ($20), a collection of four brushes that'll perfect your pout in no time. Each pink-bristled brush in the set comes in a mirrored canister and plays a different role in making your lips totally kissable:
- The Lip Smoothing Brush is designed to apply lip balm, which will prep your lips for pigment. This brush has slightly harder bristles, which will gently exfoliate.
- After filling in your lips using your favorite pencil, you should use the Lip Fan Brush to smooth on a highly pigmented lip color. Do so by slowly gliding the brush from the edges of your mouth to the cupid's bow until you've achieved full coverage.
- For crisp edges, dab some concealer on the Lip Lining Brush and sweep it along the perimeter of your pout for definition.
- Use the Lip Brush for the finishing touch: a swipe of a lighter color on the middle of your pucker to make it look plush.
