7 Inspirational Videos You'll Want to Watch Over and Over Again
The following post was originally featured on Fit Bottomed Girls and written by Dave, who is part of POPSUGAR Select Fitness.
Living a truly "healthy life" goes beyond exercise and making smart eating choices. We're starting to see more prominence given to the mental health side of the equation, but that's such a broad category as well.
Healthy living includes how you view yourself, how you view others, how you interact with the world, and what difference you make each day, large or small.
That's why I want to share these inspiring videos from 2016 with you. Yes, there are dozens of others that could be included on this list, but these seven offer a well-rounded look at what it means to live a healthy, inspired, meaningful life.
Enjoy!
1. Rise Up
I get it. Stuff is going to come up. Thing will happen. People will say stuff. There will be times when that noise in my head will scream at me so loud. "I'm on the wrong path. It's too hard. I can't do it. I'm not good enough." But, those moments are not going to stop me.
2. Overcome Depression, Anxiety and Hard Times
Life is unpredictable. Sometimes, even when we're making all the "healthy" choices, life just feels hard. You don't need to pretend that things are okay … but, do you have hope?
3. See Beneath the Surface
Take a quick look at Jasmine Elcock and you'd never guess she could do what she did on Britain's Got Talent (you've gotta watch her video below).
What talents are you hiding that are ready to come out? What qualities can you see in others when you take a longer look?
4. Don't Let Your Physical Limitations Limit You
"Remember to look up at the stars, and not down at your feet."
5. Believe In Yourself
A healthy self-perspective requires that you believe in yourself. You recognize your value, see how you're making a difference, and believe that you have great potential.
"The first step, before anyone else in the world believes it, is YOU have to believe it."
6. Have No Regrets
Think about what you would do with your last day in life. What would that day look like? Does your current life reflect those same priorities?
7. Watch For the Good
News headlines tend to emphasize the bad. Apparently bad news sells more newspapers and captures more TV viewers. But, there's a lot of good happening in our world, too, and your life will be enriched when you watch for it.
