Dad Jokes and Cute Cats Star in This Animal Shelter's Hilarious Viral Commercial
Most animal rescue organizations use tear-jerking photos of despondent pets to move people to adopt a new furry friend (we're looking at you, Sarah McLachlan). But one genius animal shelter took a more humorous route, and it's making all the difference. Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters, a Georgia-based nonprofit with tons of no-kill shelters, recently posted a hysterical online commercial to make its cats look as cute and adoptable as possible. The star of the video is loaded with dad jokes galore, saying things like "2016 models are compatible with Windows" as a group of cats press their paws to an actual glass window. The hilariously enthusiastic advertisement wraps up with an off-key rendition of McLachlan's tear-jerking hit "In the Arms of an Angel" - the ultimate cherry on top.
