Emergency Cute Is Tweeting Fire Political Commentary, and Twitter Can't Get Enough
Emergency Cute has long been one of the internet's most trustworthy sources of anxiety-relieving puppy pictures, but it's recently taken on more serious subject matter, and Twitter is taking notice. During one of America's most anxiety-inducing weeks (looking at you, Donald Trump), Emergency Cute decided all bets were off and weighed in with some inspiring political commentary on Twitter during our country's time of need.
On the day of Trump's inauguration, Emergency Cute sent out this not-so-subtle message to its nearly 600,000 followers. The tweet garnered over 1,000 retweets and an outpouring of praise from the internet.

Followers tweeted their appreciation in response to the messages of bold resistance from the courageous pup.
@EmergencyPuppy I need you to tweet all day today and the rest of this weekend.

But Emergency Cute didn't stop there, continuing to tweet feisty paw-litical messages throughout the week. It's just easier to be optimistic about the state of democracy when staring into the eyes of a civic-minded puppy, right?

To say that there must be no criticism of the President is not only unpatriotic & servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public http://pic.twitter.com/msyS1Z8EjP

We'll leave you with this pup, who we presume is equally concerned with protecting our Constitution and, say, belly rubs.
The People are the rightful masters of both Congress, and courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert it http://pic.twitter.com/Q70pHqdDLY

And trollers beware, Emergency Cute is not tolerating any of your nonsense. The account has been responding to naysayers with this same image of a pup with its tongue out. So there, haters.
