FX's Atlanta was one of the night's first winners at the Golden Globe Awards, snagging the trophy for best comedy TV series. After taking the stage to give his acceptance speech (and conveying his personal shock), Donald Glover soaked in the moment, thanked the people of Atlanta, and expressed how glad he was that so many people liked the show. The win comes off Glover's best actor snag at the Critics' Choice Awards, and even though Silicon Valley won best comedy then (much to the dismay of actor Keith Stanfield), it seems Atlanta is getting the praise it deserves.
