Hilarious Comics About the First Year of Parenting Will Make You Feel More Sane
The first year of parenting is definitely filled with ups and downs, but most parents will agree that the best way to get through it all is to find the humor that comes with raising tiny humans. Alison Wong is one of those parents and she's using her hysterical comic strips to unify all of the moms and dads going through the struggles of parenting with her.
Her book, New Mom Comics: The First Year ($15), is a handy guide full of things to expect during your baby's first year, but its humor is perfect for both new and experienced parents. "I created this series because it's what I wished I had during the first year - it's like a friend to tell you how it really is, with humor and love, not fear and worry!" Alison told POPSUGAR. "My husband and I always try to look for the humor in each day, even in tough parenting moments, as it helps us laugh and remember them so fondly."
