If You're Bad at Painting Your Own Nails But Love Sparkle, You Need to Try Glitter Cuticles
Glitter is everywhere in the beauty world, and the popular trend isn't going anywhere in 2017. Glitter cuticles came to our attention at the Spring 2017 Rodarte show, when manicurist Traceylee used a light pink nail colour on the models before taking a silver glitter nail polish outside of the nail bed and onto the cuticle. The design she created was simple but fresh and gave a chic twist on every beauty junkie's glitter obsession. When glitter fever hit Instagram, nail enthusiasts started trying out these designs at home and came up with four pretty and very different results.
This design is perfect for those who aren't strong at painting both hands without accidentally going into the cuticle, since the easy solution with this design is to just cover it up with glitter! However, be careful using some glitters as they can be difficult to remove and cuticles are notoriously dry, so using nail polish on your nail bed may not always be the best option. Try using a glitter eyeliner or real glitter flakes, and don't forget to use lots of cuticle oil after a glitter nail sesh.
