Get excited - like, really excited. McDonald's is now offering Chicken McGriddles, an all-day breakfast menu addition inspired by everyone's favorite hangover cure, chicken and waffles. The tasty hybrid will feature a crispy McChicken patty nestled between two maple-flavored McGriddle cakes for an on-the-go version of a delectable brunch mainstay. Is your mouth watering yet? Chicken McGriddles will officially be available in select restaurants in Florida until April 26, 2017. But don't fret if you don't have a vacation planned for down south this year - this combo is technically a "secret menu item" that foodies can hack by ordering a Sausage McGriddle with a crispy chicken patty instead. Phew!
This appetizing news comes after the recent announcement that the fast food chain would begin testing delivery service in the Sunshine State starting in January 2017. Those Floridians sure do love their Mickey D's!
