Ryan Reynolds Addresses Deadpool's Pansexuality and Teases Many More Films
In 2015, Marvel's R-rated Deadpool became a surprise box office juggernaut, meaning more adult-oriented superhero movies could, in fact, succeed. Between the killer soundtrack, tons of naked Ryan Reynolds, and a hint about the inclusion of Cable, it has become quite clear that the sequel will have a lot to live up to. Of course, we've gotten plenty of details about Deadpool 2, but one question hasn't quite been answered: will the hero's pansexuality become more explicit with the second go-round? We may have gotten an answer, thanks to a new Variety interview with Reynolds. Oh, and there's even a hint of many more movies to come.

- Ryan Reynolds, on Deadpool's pansexuality: "What love is to Deadpool may not be what love is to Batman or someone else. I think that could be played up more. He's an outsider in every way, shape, and form."
- On reprising his role in the years to come: "I would love to play Deadpool for as long as they would let me play Deadpool. We have outlines and stories for a number of different films."
- On perfecting the script: "I'd write 10 more jokes. I never, ever slept. Or I was sleeping at a perfect right angle - just sitting straight, constantly working at the same time."
