The First Photo of Katherine Heigl's Baby Boy Is So Freakin' Cute
Katherine Heigl welcomed baby number three, and the first snapshot of the beautiful baby boy is beyond precious. The actress introduced her and husband Josh Kelley's newborn to the world with an adorable photo shoot for People. Joshua Bishop joins older sisters, 8-year-old Naleigh, and 4-year-old Adalaide, who are both adopted. "I got really invested in adoption. I didn't look back or even think about it," she told the magazine. "Only when I was about 35 did I start going, 'Well, should we consider getting pregnant?' You don't want the choice to be taken away from you."
Although many new celebrity parents are now opting for low-key social media introductions, for a long time running it seemed People had a monopoly on introductory celebrity baby photos. Nicole Richie, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, and the Jolie-Pitts all turned to the well-established magazine to show off their newest family members. However, today, many celebs are turning to competitors who are doling out generous offerings to new parents. Others like Kim Kardashian are releasing their own photos - either on their own or through photo agencies - to bypass the whole magazine scenario.
