The Greatest Trend at the SAG Awards Is the Hardest One to See
Whether to you birds represent freedom or flight, the stars at the SAG Awards seemed to agree they were appropriate. Perhaps they didn't notice, but Nicole Kidman, Thandie Newton, Gina Rodriguez, and Meryl Streep all chose designs beaded, embroidered, or embellished with birds. In fact, they're a signature print for Valentino, the fashion house that dressed Meryl. All four actresses made the trend obvious when they greeted one another on the carpet, seemingly flocking together. Take a look at the quirky little bird trend that popped up, and pray we see more of it at the Oscars.
