The Special Reason You'll Want to Buy Kat Von D's 6 Newest Lipstick Shades
All the way back in April 2016, Kat Von D teased six tubes of her beloved Studded Kiss lipsticks. But instead of being wrapped in that classic glossy black packaging, each lipstick's case was meant to match the hue inside. "These new shades of Studded Kiss lipsticks are color-matched to their components and will be launching as a limited edition set," Kat had explained. However, while they were supposed to launch at the end of last year, the lipsticks never hit shelves.
Fans hadn't forgotten about these prettily packaged products, though. "So annoyed," said Instagram user @kizzylola1. "They said these were out around Christmas and it was delayed for months." But now we can all rest easy knowing that the set - officially named Rock Candy - will be coming to Sephora.com on April 4.
According to the brand's Instagram feed, those six petite tubes all hold brand-new electric shades. While we don't know too much about them, it's clear what their colors will be: gray, lavender, royal purple, neon pink, bright pastel pink, and coral-pink. According to a past 'gram of Kat's the gray shade is named Zero. Stay tuned for more updates on the collection as they become available!
