This Model Walked Down the Aisle in a Hooded Cape - but What She Had Underneath Will Leave You in Awe
By now, we're used to stars saying "I do" in nontraditional dresses, from semisheer numbers to beach-worthy microminis. But even our wildest wedding dreams couldn't have prepared us for what model Hanne Gaby Odiele wore on her big day as she married her long-term boyfriend, fellow model John Swiatek. While she walked down the aisle in a long hooded cape in place of a veil, Hanne soon revealed the edgy design she wore underneath: a white lacy layered bra-like top paired with white wide-leg pants, a look from Alexander Wang's last Balenciaga collection.
The Spring '16 look was anything but traditional, and we're thinking Hanne could be onto something big. Recently, blogger Helena Bordon was married in something similar by Calvin Klein, proving this bridal trend is taking off - and the model is already ahead of the game.
