This Movie About a Monster With a Psychic Connection to Anne Hathaway Actually Looks OK
As far as movie premises go, having a story about a past-her-prime party girl with an inexplicable psychic connection to a giant monster terrorizing South Korea is pretty out there. Still, after seeing the first trailer for Colossal (which features the movie premise in question), we're kind of into it. Anne Hathaway stars as Gloria, a woman spiraling through a mental breakdown who discovers that all of her movements (especially dancing) are mirrored by the massive, Godzilla-like creature stomping its way through Seoul. There's not much to go off of in the supershort trailer, but we presume costars Jason Sudeikis, Tim Blake Nelson, and Dan Stevens will be able to help Gloria figure it all out.
