Sofia Reyes's Road From Red Carpet Newbie to Pop Princess
Twenty-one-year-old Mexican singer Sofia Reyes is such a staple at Latin award shows, like Premios Juventud and Premio Lo Nuestro, that it's hard to believe before 2014 she hadn't set foot on a big red carpet. Yes, though it seems crazy, it was only a couple of years ago that she was discovered on YouTube, by bachata crooner Prince Royce, making her first official appearance under his music label in 2014. This might shock you even more: though Sofia has had several hits, including "Muevelo" and her duet with Prince Royce "Solo Yo," she has yet to release a full album!
But, TBH, we're not surprised to see Sofia's star power taking over even before her record is out. It takes just one look at the 38 red carpet snaps ahead to see her fashion-forward style and confidence scream: "I'm here to stay."
