Everything We Know So Far About the Jeffree Star Androgyny Palette
Late last year, makeup mogul Jeffree Star revealed that 2017 would be a big year for his line of eponymous cosmetics, and that he was working on expanding the range to include foundation, concealer, and a brand-new shadow palette, Androgyny (debuting in March). Based on the quality of his past powder pigment formulas, such as his incredible Skin Frost Highlighters ($29) and the Beauty Killer Shadow Palette ($45), we were anxious to hear more about Androgyny, but knew we couldn't wait too long for more news. Thankfully, Jeffree wasted no time in divulging more details on his social media accounts.
Above is Androgyny, which is wrapped in a lizard leather-textured case (but likely faux, as Jeffree's formulas are all vegan). "10 jaw dropping shades," he declared. "This is my version of a "neutral palette" but with a twist . . ." He even posted a picture of himself wearing a few of the colors on Twitter (which you'll see when you read on). We spy two matte shades - electric orange and a rosy burgundy - and a shimmering gold. Though orange and burgundy are a far cry from "neutral" for most, we're thrilled to see Jeffree continue to change the beauty landscape in 2017. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
