With the lightning-fast pace of technology, some products are exciting and new one year - only to become old and irrelevant the next. Devices that were so innovative back in the day, from VCRs to floppy disks, are now considered antiques. Twitter user ThatEricAlper recalled these blasts from the past in a thread that quickly went viral.
Music publicist, Eric Alper, opened up the floor to the Twitter world by posing a simple question: "Without revealing your actual age, what's something you remember that if you told a younger person they wouldn't understand?"
