Mary Tyler Moore Dies at Age 80
Mary Tyler Moore has died at age 80, her publicist confirms. The actress, who is best known for starring in The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show, passed away on Wednesday after suffering from multiple health problems. TMZ was first to report that the legendary actress had been hospitalized and was in "grave condition" before her passing, including reports from a source that friends and family were saying their goodbyes. The TV icon struggled with Type 1 diabetes after being diagnosed at age 31, and also underwent brain surgery back in 2011.
