World, prepare to meet my personal hero: a Southern California bear who was caught wandering into a suburban backyard to relax in the hot tub, drink a margarita, and take a post-cocktail nap. Caught in the act of reaching peak chill by homeowner Mark Hough on a hot Friday afternoon, the bear can be seen in the video above floating around in an unheated jacuzzi and, quite frankly, living his best life.

"He was playing having a grand old time," Hough, an Altadena, CA resident, told The Associated Press of the bear's relaxing day at the backyard spa. After taking a dip in the jacuzzi, the bear beelined over to an abandoned margarita that Hough had left behind in his yard, knocked it over, then leisurely lapped up the cocktail before wandering away to take a nap in a shady tree nearby. Talk about a summertime inspiration!

Now, you might be thinking, "Hey! Sure, it's relatable, but that's still breaking and entering!" Well, don't worry: according to AP, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. failed to find the bear after it woke up from its nap, so we can presume that it wandered back into the wilderness with no harm done. Plus, Hough made up for the stolen margarita by mixing two more for himself! I call that a win-win scenario.
