The 1 Diaper Bag Everyone Asks Me About Just Got Even Better

As a frenzied mom of two, the only reason people seemed to stop me on the sidewalk was to tell me that my kid had just chucked her toy out the side of the stroller or that the baby I was wearing only had one sock on. Gone were the days of "where did you get those shoes?" and "I love your dress!" That is, until I started wearing a new carryall.
I get asked about this bag nearly every time I'm out, by moms and stylish 20-somethings alike.
For the past year, I've toted my gear in the original Fawn Design bag, and I get asked about it nearly every time I'm out. At the playground, it's moms wanting to know if it fits everything I need ("yes, and then some"), if it's easy to clean ("you just wipe it down!"), and if it's too heavy ("I sometimes forget I'm wearing it"). On the train, it's stylish 20-somethings commenting on the buttery finish and gold hardware before being shocked into silence at the discovery that it's a . . . diaper bag.
What's more exciting, however, is that the most complimented diaper-bag-that-looks-nothing-like-a-diaper-bag just got an impressive upgrade. The new Fawn Design bag ($160), which launched this month, now features bigger side pockets for bottles, a top-grab handle, detachable backpack straps, and - by popular demand - an extralarge back pocket and additional zippered back pocket. The new iteration comes in black, gray, brown, and an especially trendy blush pink called Dusty Rose.
Whether or not you're angling to catch people's eyes for your sartorial choices, if you wear the Fawn bag, you're going to have to prepare for some sidewalk small talk. Read on for a closer look.
