This Tiny Harry Potter Tattoo Nods to the Marauders in the Most Subtle Way, and We're Obsessed
The Marauder's Map may show Harry Potter the whereabouts of everyone in Hogwarts Castle through moving name labels and footprints, but the footprints of the four Animagus Marauders - Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs - just came to our attention in tiny-tattoo form, and we're obsessed! In a post to the subReddit r/harrypotter, Reddit user djenkssss shared an image of their new HP tattoo, which features single werewolf, rat, dog, and stag footprints to represent the animal forms of Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black, and James Potter, respectively.
Although the jury's out in the comments (and in our hearts) as to whether Wormtail's print should be present in the design - he's a murderous back-stabber, in case anyone forgot - the subtle nod to the OG troublemakers of the franchise wouldn't translate as easily without that four-toed rat print. He was a Marauder before all else, after all.
Now, if you'll excuse us, we have a tattoo to get.
