Why I'm Not Forcing My Bridesmaids to Get Their Makeup Done For My Wedding

As a soon-to-be bride, I'm very aware of the fact that getting married involves a hell of a lot of planning for the day to go off without a hitch. But you know who else has a lot on their plate when the wedding rolls around? The bridesmaids. They are already expected to attend the engagement dinner, my bridal shower, bachelorette party, ceremony, and reception - so the very least I could do is let them decide whether or not they want to get their makeup done that day.
While I'm the first to admit that I'm pretty low-maintenance as far as bridal expectations go, I think it's completely normal to let grown-ass women choose whether or not they want to wear makeup - to a wedding or anywhere else. Here's why.
